Log 9 Materials is using its core competence in Graphene nanotechnology to develop advanced energy storage technologies from electrode materials, cell to pack level. Our Rapid Charging Battery packs (Read more) solve the challenges in adoption for the 2W and 3W electric vehicle platforms while our Aluminum Fuel Cell technology (Read more) is targeted towards the electrification of long haul, heavier vehicles.


Electrification of vehicles specially for commercial use ranging from 2W, 3W to LCVs to HCVs will not only have a significant positive impact on the environment, but it will lead to huge cost savings as well. However, different vehicle platforms have unique requirements and hence there cannot be a one-type fit all battery technology.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Good knowledge of Embedded C, C++ , RTOS and Power PC uC Architecture
  • Good knowledge of uC Architecture
  • Network protocols like CAN, UART,LIN,SPI & I2C
  • Change management and version management tools (SVN, JIRA, CC)
  • AUTOSAR MCAL, BSW stack development, configuration and integration
  • Added advantage if knows basic knowledge of multicore architecture
  • Scripting knowledge (CAPL, Perl, Python, Batch files)
  • Tool knowledge (CANalyzer, CANoe, UDE, CAN stress tool, CANdela Studio, CAN DIVA)
  • Good knowledge of RTOS concepts and AUTOSAR System services, Memory Services and Communication services
  • Analysis of the requirements and clarifications with customer
  • Design and Verification of SW
  • Technical troubleshooting
  • Develop & implement benchmark & test protocols according to industry standards
  • Develop and test electronic circuits, digital logic, microcomputer, and analog circuits
  • Ensure products satisfy UL, CSA, IEC, IEEE, EU, and EN requirements
  • Check engineering test results for application to system developments

Essential Skills:

  • Extensive experience in embedded software development in C
  • Experiences in software requirements development/management
  • Experiences with software configuration management and change management
  • Quick learner with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain focus and adapt to a variety of challenges
  • Familiarity with battery energy storage systems
  • Model and simulate control algorithms for grid-tie energy storage converters
  • Experienced in using Matlab, Python, BMS, Analog And Digital Circuits, Digital Signal Processing, Schematics, Embedded Systems, Embedded C, Altium, Embedded Linux and PCB

Requirements and profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university focused on electrical engineering, electronics engineering, or related technical field and 3+ years of related experience OR Masters degree with 1+ years’ experience required
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience developing battery systems, BMS, or cells required. Strong technical experience and passion for battery chemistry technology required
  • Experience applying lithium battery technology to battery modules and packs for full-vehicle high voltage systems required.
