As a Vehicle Integration Engineer, you will be part of the engineering core team and will be responsible for project delivery from Start to the rollout of the product. The job responsibilities include Management, Defining product specification, DMU, DFMEA, DFA, DFS, BOM, PLM, Build Management and Issue management, Homologation etc.


  • Planning and execution of complete vehicle electrical integration

  • Testing and validation of complete vehicle for its functionality

  • Assist in fault analysis and troubleshooting

  • Verification of Wiring Harness Architecture - LV & HV Wiring Harness, Fuse & Relay architecture

  • Automotive testing rig development

  • Preparing test plans and procedures for various levels of testing in EV 

  • Testing and verification of components like  Battery Pack, Battery Management system, Charging System, Powertrain, HMI, DC-DC converter and Wiring Harness before integration

  • Manage the electric vehicle EMI/EMC testing in terms of Test plan verification, RCA and design improvement suggestions

  • Ability to work individually and in a team

  • Manage test engineer and technician

  • Ability to use a soldering iron, bench equipment, and measuring tools

  • Ability to read and understand datasheets, connection diagrams, usage of basic lab tools

Minimum professional and educational background desired (include years of experience)

  • 3+ years of experience

  • Educational Qualifications:  B.Tech or equivalent in ECE/Electrical Engineering/Automotive Engineering

  • Preferred Qualifications: M.E / M.Tech degree

Key technical skills and knowledge

  • Complete understanding of different components in the Electric vehicle

  • Knowledge of electrical machine and motor controllers

  • Knowledge of CAN and other automotive communication systems

  • Knowledge of embedded protocols like UART/SPI/I2C/CAN BUS

  • Knowledge of vehicle low voltage systems

  • Knowledge of vehicle control units

  • Knowledge of different types of Lithium-ion batteries and BMS

  • Should have experience in vehicle BOM creation

  • Should have product development cycle knowledge
